Jotun Playing Poker

We had no idea what a jotun was so we looked it up. Apparently it’s a Norse giant. Who knew Norse giants loved poker so much? (Image Courtesy Wikipedia)

In an outstanding display of Gold Card racing prowess, jotun665 won an Ace of Clubs Gold Card last night, earning himself a whopping 110 miles plus the modifier for his stake level which multiplied his miles by four, giving him 440 miles in a single hand of poker!

Jotun665 is a regular top contender in the Gold Card Race. He finished third last week, won it the week before and is currently in the lead for this week after his explosive start with the Ace of Clubs.

Last week’s winner was pokrlady34 with 5,233 miles while dlepz was second with 4,896. They earned $1,000 and $850 respectively.

The Gold Card Race is a great way to earn extra cash and you don’t even need to spend your Gold Cards to do it. Miles are earned on a weekly basis each time you receive a Gold Card. Each card is worth a certain number of miles.

Every Monday at midnight, the 50 players with the most miles are paid out with first place receiving the top prize of $1,000.

And remember, any Gold Cards that you receive not only earn you miles but are automatically added to your collection to be traded in later in a Gold Card Daily Lotto for anything from Gold Card exclusive freerolls to straight up cash.

Take today’s Gold Card lotto for example. You can redeem any six 3 of diamonds Gold Cards to earn entry to an exclusive $4,000 Guaranteed Gold Card Tournament running today 3:30pm PST. You’ll only have to compete with other players who spend their six 3of diamonds Gold Cards to get in, so it’s sure to be a high value freeroll tournament.

There’s a new Gold Card Lotto draw each day so be sure to log in to Cake Poker software to find out if you’re holding the right cards and what you can get for them.

Learn more about collecting and using Gold Cards and then start winning them yourself in Cake Poker’s legendary online poker ring games.
